Job Description:

• Building packaging machine sub-assemblies
• Checking parts for proper manufacturing
• Installing mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines according to diagrams and written specifications.
• Mounting auxiliary equipment to the machine
• Correctly positioning parts and drill, tapping, and reaming holes at designated points
• Aligning and connecting parts together with fasteners using hand and power tools
• Strong customer service skills, a team-player attitude & regular and acceptable attendance are required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• 1 year of auto mechanic or industrial/mechanical experience is required.
• The ability to read schematics and blueprints is required.
• A basic understanding of mathematics principles.
• The ability to stand much of the working day.
• The ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Schedule:

• 10-hour shift
• 4x10
• Day shift
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

Salary: $20.43 - $23.00 per hour
