Responsible for leading and managing support during the refurbishment process as well as project management for scheduling unit renovations at multiple locations as assigned.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate refurbishment timelines and schedules. (Interior Units, Common Area & Exterior)

• Work in conjunction with Marketing, Community Manager, maintenance teams, contractors, other suppliers, and owners/asset managers and residents.

• Assist in maintaining daily renovation schedule.

• Manage unit renovation schedule and completions.

• Maintain Renovation Spreadsheet. Includes units to be renovated, timelines, move-in dates, etc.…

• Obtain bids for supplies and contractor services.

• Prepares and processes purchase orders. Updates renovation team and management on status of orders.

• Work with suppliers to ensure materials come in on time and at quote.

• Work with Vendors, Contractors, and Staff to ensure deadlines are met.

• Handle any resident complaints regarding renovations. Provide excellent customer service to residents, ensuring their needs are met.

• Perform routine maintenance duties as directed by the Director of Plant Operations, both inside and outside the buildings.

• Removes snow from the sidewalks and parking lots. May be required to come in during off hours for snow removal.

• Assists with the moving in of new Residents and the internal relocation of Residents and rooms when so directed.

• Develops and maintains effective working relationships with residents, their families, fellow employees, volunteers and the general public.

• Provides emergency call response and participates in a rotating weekend and evening on-call schedule.

• Meets the continuous quality improvement standards set by the Plant Operations Department

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Computer proficiency is required.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Experience or understanding of purchasing, ordering, working with vendors and working with GPOs is desirable.

2. 2-5 years’ experience with project management in long term care, the housing industry or manufacturing.

3. Previous electrical, plumbing, carpentry, custodial, and mechanical repair ability is desirable.

• Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, and ability to use computer.

Salary: $21.76 - $26.21 per hour
