Product Manager - Modem Technologies

Job Description

Client is seeking a Product Manager to join our team and lead the development and management of the Company’s modem technologies. This role is responsible for defining the product roadmap, driving product initiatives, and ensuring the successful launch and ongoing enhancements to our family of modem products and solutions.

The Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to deliver innovative modem technologies that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

The opportunity to perform duties remotely will be considered based on candidate qualifications, location, and experience. Any remote work location will be subject to customary travel as reasonably required by the Company and necessary to perform outlined job responsibilities - including to the Company’s corporate offices located in Hanover, PA.

Essential Responsibilities and Expectations:

Although not all inclusive, additional responsibilities, expectations, and skills will include:

  • Define the strategic vision and roadmap for modem technologies based on market trends, customer requirements, and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, technology advancements, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans and prioritize feature development.
  • Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality execution.
  • Manage trade-offs between time, cost, and scope to optimize product development efforts and achieve business goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to align product strategy with business objectives.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, and priorities effectively across the organization and foster collaboration to drive alignment and execution.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather feedback, understand requirements, and validate product concepts.
  • Identify customer needs and pain points and translate them into product features and enhancements that deliver value and address market demands.
  • Develop go-to-market plans, positioning strategies, and marketing collateral to support the successful launch of new modem technologies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop sales enablement tools, product messaging, and promotional activities to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of modem technologies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze product performance data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.

Other qualifications and attributes include:

  • Understanding of modem technologies, standards (e.g., LTE, 5G), protocols, and architecture.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing product strategies, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results.
  • Proven track record of driving product innovation, delivering successful product launches, and achieving business objectives.
  • Detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Capacity to complete assigned tasks successfully, on time, and accurately.
  • Ability to travel infrequently via vehicle, air, and/or other modes of transportation.
  • Valid US driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $77,949.02 - $93,874.09 per year
