The Service Engineer ensures the correct functioning of the systems installed at client customers all over the world and takes care of every aspect related to the post-sale.

Our technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, updating, repairing, and calibrating client systems, training, and supporting the local staff of both client offices distributors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Work in full synergy with other corporate entities, with the Project Technical interventions at customers worldwide.
• Be the trainer of Maintenance Training classes for local office staff and distributors.
• Be the trainer of Maintenance Training classes for customers.
• Supervision and constant technical support at the customer’s premises.
• Technical and commercial visits to customers.
• Travel is required from 50% to 75% of the time (US Domestically)
• Analysis of the efficiency of the installed systems.
• Report customer needs and comments to other client entities.
• Create internal reports to other corporate entities.
• Problem-solving and feedback to clients.
• Telephone Help Desk.
• Remote support.
• Management and supervision of the installation and start-up of machines and lines.
• Validation and testing of software online automation.
• Service and maintenance of complex automatic production lines.
• Good knowledge of automation hardware components (PC, plc, and communication protocols of industrial networks and drives.
• Installation and de-installation of Automatic Test Equipment.
• Preventive and extraordinary service activities.

Qualification, Skills and Experience:

• Experience: Consolidated technical experience in the installation and maintenance (electrical) of industrial machinery..
• Technical knowledge: Good PLC knowledge (diagnostics). Familiarity with DMM, Power Supplies, and Frequency Counters. Field service experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to work in a Team and Predisposition to interpersonal relationships.
• Education: BSEE or MSEE in Electrical / Electrical Engineering

The candidate should expect to spend a training period of approximately 3-6 months in either Phoenix (AZ), Tyler (TX), or Torino (ITALY).
