Job Description:

The Schedule Manager is a key leadership role within the Field Operations department, requiring 15 years of progressive scheduling experience in technical construction projects. This individual will oversee all aspects of the scheduling department, collaborating closely with the VP of Field Operations, General Superintendents, Project Executives, Preconstruction, and project teams. The Schedule Manager will be responsible for managing the scheduling aspects of construction projects from pursuit through completion, utilizing deep knowledge of scheduling and lean pull planning methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scheduling department and manage schedulers, including skill development.
• Develop project schedules based on experience and historical analytics, collaborating with project superintendents or project managers.
• Monitor and track progress against established schedules, identifying potential delays or issues, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Ensure quality control of schedules produced by company and proficiently use construction scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore).
• Manage multiple project schedules as part of the Global all Project Dashboard and historical database.
• Cost and resource loading schedules for Earned Value Analysis (EVA) productivity and trending analytics.
• Provide scheduling assistance for pre-construction projects (RFP) and ensure delays are adequately documented.
• Communicate effectively with clients and Bay Area scheduling consultants to review schedules, delays, and maintain positive relationships.
• Develop innovative scheduling solutions and integrate with other processes.
• Conduct health checks and analytical analysis on P6 schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing and maintaining standards of practices for the scheduling department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant industry.
• Fifteen plus years of professional experience in scheduling technical construction projects.
• Proficiency in P6 Enterprise, MS Project, Schedule Validator, and Smartsheet.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with clients and scheduling consultants.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Lean pull planning expertise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
