Job Description
The ideal candidate will support daily procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and on-time delivery of material.
Essential Functions:
· Process daily procurement requirements into purchase orders.
· Send out RFQs for new or changed parts.
· Communicate priorities to suppliers
· Establish and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers.
· Communicate supplier issues such as shortages or delays with stakeholders
· Monitor supplier orders to ensure they are shipped on a timely basis to support the production schedule
· Update Visual data inputs such as supplier lead times, reorder point, safety stock, etc.
· Pursue best practices and cost-reduction initiatives and participate in any organizational improvement
projects and training
· Monitors open/closed orders ensuring on-time delivery dates are achieved to meet business needs
· Works with suppliers to implement engineering changes promptly
· Performs all other duties and responsibilities as directed
· Comply with safety programs, training, and policy
Requirements:
· Must travel to visit with suppliers to discuss quality, pricing, design, and lead time concerns multiple times per month or as required.
· Must have material purchasing experience in the manufacturing of Terrain Cranes, Truck Cranes, Crawler Cranes, and Loader Cranes.
Qualifications:
· Sufficient experience in purchasing or related fields.
· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in computer systems related to Windows, Word, Excel, and other applicable software.
· Strong experience with Excel desired.
· Ability to problem solve.
· Ability to negotiate changes skilfully and effectively with vendors and manufacturing teams.

Salary: $50,997.64 - $61,416.51 per year
