A day in the role

• Sign into Cisco phone system start receiving inbound phone calls for scheduling purposes
• Patients parents are typically reaching out to schedule an appointment call to cancel, call to see where they are on the waitlist, call to reschedule
• This representative will pull up the system to answer or connect patients to the correct place
• They record the calls for training purposes and Brooke who is the Practice Manager will look at metrics
• How long they waited in the que
• No Average Handle Time because every call is different
• Systems - EPIC (scheduling), Powercharts, Outlook & Teams - a lot of communication in Outlook
• Typically all inbound - need someone comfortable on the phones all day
