Sales Assistants Needed!!!
Description:
Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm
Contract to hire
• Execute all supplier and marketing campaigns assigned.
• Conduct outreaches (prospecting) and develop quality leads/opportunities to pass to the appropriate Account Manager.
• Accurately forecast and track leads & activities (calls, emails, meetings) using Salesforce.com CRM.
• Convey product knowledge to potential customers/prospects, adhering to company messaging and positioning.
• Consult with prospects to uncover how Power & Telephone Supply can solve their business challenges, then work with customers to define opportunities and allocate to other sales channels.
• Set up initial and follow-up calls on high-quality sales opportunities including leads from P&T marketing campaigns, distribution partners, trade shows, and conferences.
• Serve as backup to Account Managers that are on vacation within a specific territory.
• Quickly and confidently qualify leads within required timelines and with a focus on customer engagement/re-engagement, account development, and retention.
• Participate in departmental cross-training and execute self-development opportunities - focused on building the knowledge, skills, and abilities that drive success within that role, the broader sales organization, and in line with desired career progression.
• Maintain the integrity of the ERP/CRM systems by updating or deleting obsolete customer information and notes when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1-2 year of sales experience
Must have Microsoft Excel & Word experience (basic to intermediate)
Associates/Bachelors Degree highly preferred
Excellent Attention to Detail
Good Communication Skills (verbal and written)
Works well independently and in Group Environments
