Top Skills Required :

1) Candidates must have experience working in a trade with their hands - electrical, construction, landscaping, etc.

2) Candidates must be comfortable working on commercial or construction job sites

3) Candidates must be punctual, able to follow direction, and willing to learn new skills within low voltage

4) Hard working & positive attitude towards career growth

Personal Vehicle

Valid Driver's License

Basic Hand Tools (screwdrivers, drills, etc.)

OSHA-10 safety certification (willing to get prior to starting)

Job Description :

TEKsystems is looking to add additional Telecom Helpers to the team in preparation for an increase in project work throughout 2024 and beyond.

This position will be supporting a current job based in Tilton, NH.

Telecom Helpers & Cable Technicians will gain experience pulling, terminating, and punching down CAT 5 and CAT 6 cable as well as a basic understanding (cannot bend fiber 90 degrees) of fiber optic cable.

This project environments consist of new construction sites and / or existing building renovation environment. This will require technicians to be familiar with working in renovation construction job sites.

Candidates must be able to pull, terminate and punch down CAT5 and 6 cable. Must have experience running cable from office cubical back to the closet and some closet preparation experience is nice to have but not required.
