Description:

Responsible for the billing, follow-up and collection of Medical Center receivable in order to maintain positive cash flow and reduce accounts receivables and A/R days, in compliance with all applicable regulations. Responsible for coordinating billing, collection, and account resolution functions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent required. Advanced courses in computer, office or public relations preferred.
• At least two years as a registrar, collector, or patient account representative or equivalent, plus one to two years business office experience.
• Speed and accuracy with keyboard and calculator, and computer experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Epic EMR Required
• Must have HB Experience (Hospital Billing)
• Strong knowledge of commercial or government insurance
• UB/HCHA 1500 Knowledge
