Entry Level Medical Billing Specialist

100% On-Site - Malvern, PA

Pay: $18.50/hr

Job Description:

• The Revenue Cycle/Medical Billing Specialist will process patient insurance information through the patient intake process ensuring the timely and accurate submission of insurance claims.
• Will initially start with working through paper claim submissions and learning the core foundational tasks and transition into working denials.
• Perform duties for revenue operations department related to either medical insurance billing, collections, patient access, and collect payment on outstanding balances.
• Communicate with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for our patients or to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for services rendered.
• Maintain patient account information.
• Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and policies.
• This is a full-time open ended contract opportunity with potential for permanent hire with benefits!

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of previous administrative experience
