Additional Information

This individual will be Supporting Equity Traders on site - very high pressure environment. The right fit will have urgency to resolve issues and a White Glove mentality.

Follow up is critical. Any knowledge of a Trading Floor would be a plus. They will be supporting In-House Applications and will be trained.

Any knowledge of Bloomberg would be a plus. Business casual (collared shirt, dress shoes, etc.). Hours are Monday Friday 7 : 00am 4 : 00pm or 7 : 30am 4 : 30pm.

The role is fully on site. This is a Contract to Hire position salary up to $125,000 (bonus of roughly 10% after 1 year of service).

Work on the dynamic trading floor located in Greenwich, CT. You will primarily assist the trading desk by providing support of applications, hardware, market data services and peripheral equipment utilized.

This includes but not limited to installing, configuring, diagnosing, repairing and upgrading corporate hardware and applications while ensuring optimal performance.

This individual is expected to gain superior knowledge on all Business Line applications (specifically our Trading and Sales environment) and will be required to provide in depth application support.

It will also be expected that this individual gain knowledge and support the Business Line telephony devices which include, IPC Turrets, Cisco phones, and mobile devices.

This individual will be expected to provide crisis management for downed services and help to resolve, manage and escalate those downed services via other internal Technology Teams.

The position’s responsibilities require independent analysis and problem solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and judgment.

Responsibilities :

  • Act as primary liaison between trading floor, technical groups and vendors.
  • Facilitate the tracking, escalation, and resolution of production issues.
  • Provide hardware, software and telephone equipment support.
  • Monitor system health.
  • Candidate will escalate incidents to developers, server and network engineers when needed.
  • Deploying, configuring and tuning Windows workstations.
  • Conduct trading desk moves.
  • This position requires flexible hours when needed.

Qualifications :

  • 2 or more years previous computer related experience preferred.
  • Experience with trading desk support preferred.
