TEKsystems is Hiring a Cable installer Near Cheyenne, WY

Looking for a 5 week summer job and are good with simple hand tools or have an interest in getting into the install tech industry? APPLY NOW!

Role : Cable Installer

Duration : 5 week project (could extend a couple weeks)

Rate Range : 20-23 / hour based on experience level

Start Date : June 3rd

Worksite Location : 7700 Commerce Circle, Cheyenne, Wyoming, 82007, United States

Hours : 8-4 Mon-Friday (maybe 6-2pm)

BYOT Bring your own small hand tools to run cable, cut wiring to splice, simple, small things (not a ladder)

Must pass a criminal Background check (no record)

Top Skills' Details

1) Can be completely new to this industry and just want to gain experience installing / running cable in a commercial building

2) Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude ( works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper)

3) Physical labor : Must be able to run and install CAt5 / Cat6 in a building (no prior experience needed)

Job Description

The main project is going to be running Cat5 / CAt6 cabling. This is the 2nd project Directline has won in Cheyenne. They do projects all across the country very similarly.

They are looking for a total of 20 techs but need about 10 to start on June 3rd!

Going to be cable installer on Data Center project in Cheyenne, WY. Must be willing to travel in own vehicle to job site for contract length.

Ideally have your own 10 in 1 screwdriver, side cutters, cable strippers 14-24 AWG and trim screwdriver / tweaker. Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude ( works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper)

Protective Clothing Required :

The position will require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use such as safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, safety vest and, steel-toed shoes or work boots, as required on job site.
