Job Description:
Accounting Technician for The Division of Gaming.
Prepares all the Division's vendor invoices for payment.
Ensures that all invoices have been approved and received.
Is the Division's liaison and reallocator for all procurement card (State’s credit card) purchases.
Prepares procurement card payment vouchers and ensures proper documentation is attached.
Reviews rejected payments AD-EF Exception report and resolves issues.
Tracks what has been paid and prepares accrual documentation for the Accountant III.
Keeps track of prepaids, processes journal vouchers (JV’s) and Interagency Transfers (IT’s).
Performs year-end inventory and keeps track of all laptops and PCs throughout the year.
Checks for outstanding warrants in CORE. Contacts vendors and resolves the issue if the warrant is over 60 days old.
Asks Accountant I to resolve any that were for background refunds.
Uploads Central City’s utility bills (City of Central City and Xcel Energy) to the Bill Capture system.
Processes all in-state travel.
Hybrid - 1-2 days in office per week.
