Job Description: Telephony Technician
We are currently looking for a Telephony Technician for a contract-to-hire role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Upgrading and maintaining client telecommunications systems
• Performing installations, repairs, moves, additions, and changes on existing telecommunications and related equipment
• Conducting diagnostic tests on telecommunications systems to identify and resolve technical faults
• Troubleshooting Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) / analog lines for alarm panels and elevator systems
• Installing and testing analog, digital, and VOIP telephones
• Participating in large-scale projects, upgrades, and relocations
• Running new wires and replacing jacks, lids, and pedestals as necessary
• Maintaining telephony devices, including emergency phones, fax machines, and intercom systems
• Collaborating with Field Services and Telecommunications Engineers for daily support
• Ensuring adequate inventory of materials (hardware and software) and maintaining appropriate safety stock
