Description:
TEKsystems clients Architecture and Infrastructure team is building out a new formalized infrastructure service catalog. This project requires a technical writer to assist the project team with documentation of the services, definitions, workflows and SLA's that are user friendly while effectively describing the service.
The technical writer must have a strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, terminology and services.
Prior experience documenting a service catalog for an IT organization is highly preferred.
ITSM documentation experience is a major plus.
10 years of technical writing experience
4 years experience of infrastructure related technical writing
2 years of experience creating and documentation service catalog services, definitions, workflow, processes and SLA's
The technical writer will work with the Project Manager and Business Analyst to meet with infrastructure service owners to clearly define approved infrastructure services, the required content in the service catalog document, the structure of the document which consists of both the technical services and business services in a two tier approach.
The technical writer will be responsible for clearly defining services that that are considerate of the format, layout, language, and style of the service catalog, and make sure that it is clear, concise, consistent, and user-friendly based on the clients standards.
