Description:
This role will be working on a new cloud-based Information Technology System replacing legacy applications and integrating business intelligence applications such as digital dashboards, data analytics, and ad-hoc reporting.
Current testing environment
o Azure devops (ADO)
o Manual testing code right now, there's people that have automation experience - career testers
o Their Microsoft vendor they use CICD practices and agile methodology
o Integration testing
o Interface testing
o SQL
For this role, we are looking for someone who understands and has experience with how to build a test plan, strategy and approach. They will be managing a team of 5 testers who are all manual testers at various skill levels. The goal alongside the Automation Performance tester they are also hiring will be to build out a mature testing environment for the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with a large enterprise vendor
Mentor the testing team
Create metrics
Understand basic statistics
Follow standards
Map test plans
Track test results
Provide reporting to stakeholders
Mitigating risks and identify and escalate risks
Provide resource allocation hours and keep up with development, test management, defect management
Have familiarity with automation scripts, they don't need to be executing performance testing
