Job Description
Our client is seeking a Lead Cable Technician to help their growing project load in Richmond, VA. They are a rapidly growing Structured Cabling Company that supports ISP projects for commercial and industrial clients. This Cable Technician will be a part of a mid-size team involved with various projects. They will be conducting work related to AV, Security, Networking, Cabling, and wireless connectivity in buildings.
On a day-to-day basis the technician will be reporting to locations in the greater Richmond region. They will be responsible for carrying out work for completing assigned tasks efficiently. They will be responsible for small to medium size crews on commercial projects. At the end of the day Leads will provide updates and submit reports on projects they are working on. Training will be provided in areas and technologies. They will be responsible for advancing projects and sticking to timelines.
This candidate will receive a company vehicle. All the work is local to the greater Richmond region.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of experience pulling and terminating fiber optic, cat5, cat6, or coaxial cables
- Experience working on cabling projects and with IT hardware.
- Commercial or Industrial setting working experience
- Experience working with a team.
- Experience in a Lead or supervisory role in the cabling field.
