If you have experience in the Telecommunications, construction, carpentry, general labor, or maintenance industry, this could be a great position for you!
Summary: As an entry-level Cable Technician, you'll be part of a team responsible for building the cable infrastructure within a data center. Your tasks will include pulling cables, working with fiber, understanding color codes, performing punch-down and termination, installing cable trays, and assembling server racks.
Responsibilities:

1. Install work area outlets for floors and walls (e.g., monument, box eliminator).
2. Drop cables down walls using fish tape or other methods.
3. Route cables through the data center.
4. Organize, form, dress, and label cables during pre-termination procedures.
5. Properly suspend and support cables using cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze.
6. Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cables.
7. Perform fire-stopping procedures on firewalls, install sleeves, and pull cables through sleeves and core penetrations.
8. Terminate low-voltage devices.
9. Follow blueprints.

• Flexibility with hours (may work 10-hour days if needed).
