tekscan is Hiring a Remote INSIDE SALES SPEC

Job Summary:

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by efficiently processing, qualifying, and managing leads to ensure the seamless flow of potential customers through the sales pipeline. Your primary responsibility will be to handle lead processing, qualification, and assignment, as well as managing and processing sensor orders. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the outside sales team and partners to schedule demos and convert qualified leads into satisfied customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Processing:
  • Receive and analyze incoming leads through various channels (website, email, phone, etc.).
  • Ensure all lead information is accurately captured and recorded in the company's CRM system.
  • Prioritize leads based on predefined criteria to optimize sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and lead generation teams to refine lead processing strategies.
  • Qualification and Assignment:
  • Conduct thorough lead qualification to assess potential customer fit, needs, and buying intent.
  • Determine appropriate lead assignment to the relevant sales representatives or teams.
  • Ensure timely distribution of leads and maintain visibility of lead status throughout the process.
  • Lead Pipeline Management:
  • Monitor and manage the lead pipeline, from initial contact to the final outcome (qualified/non-qualified).
  • Implement strategies to keep leads engaged and moving through the pipeline efficiently.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on lead pipeline status to the sales management team.
  • Sensor Order Management:
  • Process incoming orders for sensors, ensuring accurate product selection, pricing, and timely order fulfillment.
  • Liaise with the logistics and operations teams to track order status and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Demo Scheduling and Lead Conversion:
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team and partners to schedule product demonstrations with qualified leads.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the product and address potential customer inquiries.
  • Work towards converting qualified leads into committed customers through persistent follow-ups and relationship-building.
  • Sales Team Support:
  • Assist the outside sales team with any administrative tasks related to lead management and sales activities.
  • Provide sales representatives with necessary documentation and materials for successful customer interactions.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Apply your knowledge of electronics, including resistance, voltage, electrical current, Op-Amp circuits, Analog to Digital conversion, and DAQ systems, to provide technical guidance to customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree

- Proven experience in inside sales, lead processing, and lead qualification.

- Strong understanding of CRM systems and proficiency in lead management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with leads and sales teams.

- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.

- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Familiarity with sensor technology or similar technical products is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant sales software.

- Multimeter proficiency to assist customer diagnoses is a plus

- Preferable experience in managing or working for an online store, particularly in electronics components or test measurement products.

- In-depth knowledge of electronics, including resistance, voltage, electrical current, Op-Amp circuits, (A/D) conversion, and DAQ systems.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
