We are currently seeking an individual to join our team as an Installation Technician. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for installing alarm systems and components in both residential and commercial settings. Additionally, you may be involved in the installation of home theaters, surveillance systems, wireless networks, and server rack components as needed. While experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary aptitude and attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Perform new system installations, upgrades, and additions of commercial and residential alarm and surveillance systems.
• Ensure accountability for all installation and service tools/equipment, as well as job parts/inventory.
• Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, reconfigure, and test equipment and devices, making necessary repairs as required.
• Conduct comprehensive turnover and training of installed systems to customers, providing remote or on-site demonstrations and explaining operational details.
• Process customer payments onsite upon job completion.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Provide reliable, high-quality customer support.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Basic understanding of alarm, surveillance, and/or home theater systems.
• Ability to comprehend and follow verbal, written, and electronic instructions effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills; Must be outgoing and personable as customer interaction is frequent.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, and hammers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Presentable in a professional manner.
• Detail-oriented and organized with an ability to multitask and prioritize work.
• Strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary.
• The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and regularly lift and/or move up to 25-45 pounds.

Additional Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license without restrictions and have a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation is essential.

Compensation:

• Annual Salary: $43,500 - $55,000 (Depending on Experience)
• Employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance available after 90 days of employment.
