TekGroup is Hiring a Material Handler/Forklift Operator Near Fremont, CA
Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and handling materials in a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator
- Proficiency in shipping, receiving, and materials handling
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation and repair
- Familiarity with warehouse management procedures
- Certification to operate Hi-Lo, Cherry Picker, and Pallet Jack equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Warehouse experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Forklift: 3 years (Preferred)
