Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Specialist focusing on Laboratory equipment. The role involves managing inventory levels, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate records of laboratory supplies.

Duties:
- Oversee the procurement and inventory management of laboratory equipment and supplies
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to replenish inventory as needed
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels
- Utilize supply chain management principles to streamline inventory processes
- Operate forklifts for moving heavy laboratory equipment when necessary

Requirements:
- Prior experience in category management or inventory control, preferably in a laboratory setting
- Proficiency in SQL or similar database management tools for data analysis
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate forklifts safely
- Knowledge of supplier management practices and procurement processes
- Strong analytical skills for financial analysis related to inventory management
- Familiarity with supply chain principles to optimize inventory flow

• Inventory control: 5 years (Preferred)
• Inventory lab equipment: 3 years (Preferred)
