Role: Azure cloud Admin
Location: New York, NYDuration: 6 Months Contract with possible extension
Job Description:

MUST HAVES

-- Office 365 administration

-- Active Directory/ Azure Active Directory

"candidate must be a jack-of-all-trades in Microsoft environments"

Looking for a wrench-turning, hands-on engineer

Ability to flex and address related, emergent items

-- E.g.; jump in and handle on-prem backups

Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently

"This is an engineering role"

Specific Technologies:

VX Rail, HyperConversion, Rubric, NetBackup, Cohesity

Day-to-Day Activities:

-- Familiar with back-end restore procedures

-- Experience in migrating from on-prem to cloud

E.g.; migrating Sharepoint sites and fileshares

Strong hands-on experience, deeply knowledgeable about Microsoft technologies

Should have a basic knowledge of network infrastructure (but Bank is pretty solid here)

Client Engagement model:

-- Must possess good communication skills

-- Have working understanding of project management needs

-- Ability to deliver and execute technical products at task-level

-- Some level of basic project management skills (project of one team member)

Core Knowledge Areas:

Strong technical skills/ on-prem and Azure cloud, Microsoft 365

Sharepoint administration

Core networking knowledge is a plus

Windows server technology

Windows VMware support

Migrate some workloads from on-prem to cloud
