TekCom Resources is Hiring a Data Center Foreman Near Phoenix, AZ
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Data Center Foreman to manage our Fiber Splicing/Installation teams in the Phoenix, AZ market. The Foreman will partner with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed, meeting all customer deadlines, commitments, and quality standards. This is a full-time direct position. Benefits include company vehicle and IBEW union dues.
Pay rate - $33-37 hourly

Essential Job Functions
- Installations: Perform data center cage and overhead ladder rack installations according to industry standards.
- Blueprints & Specifications: Read and follow blueprints, instructions, and specifications. Maintain the project scope and adhere to safety procedures.
- Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the Project Manager and crew members, representing the company and interfacing with customers, developers, property owners, utilities, and municipalities when required.
- Team Management: Manage up to 5 crew members daily, Quality Inspection: Inspect completed work to ensure all tasks meet company/customer standards.
- Safety & Quality Management: Accountable for the safety, quality, schedule, and cost on assigned projects. Supervise and implement projects, ensuring compliance with site and company policies, safety protocols, and procedures.
- Documentation: Prepare closeout documentation for each project phase upon completion.
- 5 years of relevant job experience as a Foreman in a data center environment
- Knowledge of cable installation practices, dressing cables, lacing, terminating, etc.
- Basic knowledge of AC and DC power plants.
- Experience with fiber splicing
- Familiarity with various manufacturers' ISP racks, cabinets, ladder racks, fiber guides, and termination panels.
- Knowledge of cable testing procedures and test equipment.
- Knowledge of inside plant (ISP) safety measures and data center security processes.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
