Requirement Description:

The selected Consultants will work on developing and modernizing applications in an agile environment. Their responsibilities will encompass various stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing technical support.

Objectives:

• Legacy Application Modernization: Rewrite legacy applications to .NET applications using modern technologies.
• Agile Development: Work within an agile framework to deliver high-quality software efficiently.
• Technology Integration: Utilize .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, .NET MAUI Blazor , Web API, and SQL Server for application development.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications through thorough testing.
• Security Implementation: Implement secure coding practices to safeguard applications against vulnerabilities.
• Documentation: Document design decisions, code, and processes to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements.

Tasks/Deliverables:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Application Design: Design scalable and maintainable software solutions adhering to best practices.
• Application Development: Develop .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, .NET MAUI Blazor, Web API, and other relevant technologies.
• Testing: Conduct unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
• Deployment: Deploy applications in various environments while ensuring smooth transition and minimal downtime.
• Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support to resolve issues and optimize application performance.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and deployment processes.
• Training: Provide knowledge transfer and training sessions to internal teams as necessary.

Requirements:

• Verifiable experience as a .NET Web Developer with ASP.NET MVC (10 years).
• Proficiency in C# programming language (10 years).
• Experience with Microservices architecture (2 years).
• Familiarity with Microsoft C# .NET Core or .NET 5 (2 years).
• Expertise in SQL Server Database Design and development (10 years).
• Experience with Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later (10 years).
• Proficiency in Agile methodology (5 years).
• Development experience using .NET Framework 4.0 or higher (10 years).
• Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) (10 years).
• Understanding of N-tier environments and deployment strategies (10 years).
• Familiarity with code repository strategies using Team Foundation Server (TFS) (10 years).
• Experience implementing Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) in ASP.NET applications (5 years).
• Proficiency in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for report development (5 years).
• Understanding of mobile-compliant application development (5 years).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices for ASP.NET MVC applications.
