Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Technician to join our team. As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of network cables and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test network cables, including Ethernet, telephone, and fiber optic cables
- Perform cable management and labeling to ensure organization and ease of troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues
- Install and configure network equipment, such as switches, routers, and modems
- Conduct site surveys to determine cable routing and connectivity requirements
- Collaborate with clients to understand their networking needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of cable installations, repairs, and upgrades
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working at heights or in confined spaces

Requirements:
- Previous experience in network installation or related field service roles
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols
- Proficiency in using hand tools for cable termination and installation
- Familiarity with Cisco routers and other networking equipment is a plus
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.92 - $30.00 per hour

Payment frequency:

• 1099 contract
• Paid weekly
