Security Systems Technician

Scope:
The Security Systems Technician will be responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and programming of security systems, with a focus on access control, cameras, and gate operators. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, commercial experience, reliability, and a professional presentation.

Tools/PPE:
Candidates must have their own car and tools for security system installations. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain security systems, including access control systems, cameras, and gate operators.
• Program security systems according to client specifications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Conduct site assessments to determine security system requirements.
• Provide training to clients on the use and maintenance of security systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in security system installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in access control, camera installation, and gate operator programming.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
