We are seeking a Materials Coordinator for our Van Wert, Ohio Plant.

Essential Job Functions :

• Managing, motivating and developing the shipping / receiving team.
• Analyzing materials and inventory to improve established processes and KPIs.
• Ensuring accurate information in the QAD system.
• Ongoing communication with customers and suppliers (written and verbal).
• Daily production input to QAD.
• Daily production schedule updating.
• Daily updating of shipping schedule.
• Regular review of inventories for shipping requirements.
• Regular entry of scrap / rework from QAD HOLD tickets.
• Track receipts for receiving, input into QAD and spreadsheet.
• Schedule all outgoing material shipments.
• Work with hourly shipping staff on needed change to paperwork.
• Review shipping paperwork after shipment to verify loads are properly posted.
• Maintain shipping logs in Excel spreadsheets.
• Maintain weekly material backflush records.
• Ensures warehouse organization and housekeeping is maintained, adhere to FIFO principals, and assists with inventory control activities.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Materials, Supply Chain or Warehousing.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is a bonus.
• Computer Skills : Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Word, etc.
• Ability to pick up usage of QAD systems.
