Job Description The Sarepta facility is seeking to fill a Plant Controller position. Position Summary: The primary responsibility will be to establish individual employee goals, department objectives, key operating procedures, and long or short-term financial forecasts. The Controller will also approve all plant expenses and appropriations requests. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Establish short-term and long-term forecasts. Prepare and review weekly and monthly financial results. Manage fixed assets. Monitor and assist with productive and non-productive inventories. Monitor capital and capital projects. Direct/support departments with goals, objectives, development requirements and annual reviews. Approve plant expenses and appropriations requests. Establish and maintain key operating procedures and all required journal entries and accruals. Complete month-end and year-end closings of the financial records Maintain and administer all governmental tax credits such as Renewal Community and Enterprise zone and all governmental grants. Maintain relationships with outside auditors, vendors, financial institutions, and taxing authorities. Develop and recommend operating policy and procedures pertaining to accounting activities and instruct other management of their application and interpretation. Balance sheet reconciliations. Deliverables: Monthly Management Report – Current Month Financial Summary Financial Bridge versus Budget Financial Bridge versus Prior Year Capex Dashboard Operation’s KPI’s Annual Budget Knowledge and Skills Required: Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, financial, or business administration. High degree of confidentiality. High degree of understanding and cooperation with others. Accounting experience within the automotive or manufacturing industry, preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
