Job Description
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
- Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
- Prepare and send special reports
- Abide by the company’s system of controls over accounting transactions
- Assisting the accounting manager as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned/required for the role.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and skills
- 3 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably with a major company or division of a large corporation
- Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Salesforce and Financial Force proficiency a plus
- Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completion
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently in a fast pace environment, demonstrating a sense of urgency
- Professional communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
