Our client is a leader in specialty building products in North America. They are looking to add another person to their team, to service their California customer base, out of the headquarters, Perris, CA office. The existing team has their hands so full that they could use an extra body to provide customer service to their walk-in and phone customers.

The Job:

Expedient, friendly, and helpful service to customers’ requests for product info, pricing, advice or recommendations.
Develop knowledge in all merchandise sold through the store. Make suggested sales, add-on sales and upgraded sales in response to customer inquiries.
Use of software/hardware for the purpose of point-of-sale, order entry and maintenance, inventory control.
Working knowledge of procedures relating to stock, sales, returns, delivery, invoicing, special orders, receiving, and transfers that enable proper coordination of store services to customer.
Complete quotes, source and price products and materials, provide product availability and shipping information in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate:

You are detail oriented, independent, and a personable and strong communicator over the phone. You are well-versed in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.). If you have worked in inventory management and coordinating transportation for products/materials, that would be terrific.
