Ultrasound Technician - TEEMA Group, Kamuela, HI, USA

TEEMA Group is looking for an experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our team in Kamuela, HI, USA. The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and related procedures to provide data for diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound examinations and related procedures to provide data for diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries.

  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.

  • Maintain patient records and prepare required reports.

  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment.

  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years registered Radiologic Technologist with two (2) years supervised work/training in diagnostic ultrasound

  • Active ARDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN sonography.

  • Active ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) preferred.

  • Current BLS/HCP certification.

  • Associate’s degree in Ultrasound Technology or related field.

  • Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

  • Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and related procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
