OCCUPATION: QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR LEVEL I JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE:Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, theQuality Assurance Inspector Level l is responsible for inspecting samples ofthe production activities and assure that product specifications are met. JOB DUTIES:Perform in-process and final inspection of manufacturingactivities; Extrusion/Finishing, Composites, Bag. Maintain accurate and concise quality records. Communicate any pertinent information to the ManufacturingSupervisor in a timely manner. Assure that all product specifications are evaluated andreported accurately. Complete all necessary paperwork for internal and customerrequirements. Perform inspection and test activities and judge resultsconsistently as defined. Assist in the training of production personnel. Communicate ideas for improvement to the system to the QAManager. Work cooperatively with other departments. Uphold TEEL safety requirements and company policies. Adhere to assigned work schedule. Be responsive and willing to go the extramile in meeting customer requirements and delivery schedules. Maintenance and improvement of the ISO 9001 based qualitymanagement system. Understand and execute the QMS policies and procedures asrequired. 1/98revispage 2 of 2 JOB REQUIREMENTS:Requires the education level usually found in four years ofhigh school or equivalent.
