Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. This is an important role that requires a passion for childhood development and the ability to provide quality care and education.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in our facility
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate learning and development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment
- Assist with meal preparation, diapering, and other caregiving tasks as needed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Experience working with children in a classroom, babysitting, or daycare setting
- Ability to engage and educate children through play-based learning activities
- Knowledge of toddler care and preschool curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
