TECMA is Hiring a Warehouse Quality Inspector Near Santa Teresa, NM

Main Job Duties:

  • Independently perform routine tasks to inspect product.
  • Independently perform PCA/part/subassembly/finished product build and quality validation sampling.
  • Perform quality inspection audits to IPC 610A standard for printed circuit boards, soldering criteria, lead free connections, fillet criteria, cleanliness, and failure modes.
  • Perform tests on product to determine approval or rejecting and writes report of examinations.
  • Identify and disposition non-conforming parts, assemblies and finished good products.
  • Independently perform quality audits of various types.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate physical and functional product defects.
  • Perform work in a safe manner. Report repairs or safety concerns to management.
  • Maintain compliance with all ISO 9001 regulations and procedures.
  • Perform warehouse receiving, storage and shipping functions as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year

related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: At least one year of experience and knowledge of PDU product and quality standards.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret orthographic drawings.
  • Familiar with mechanical measurement equipment and tooling.
  • Ability to understand and apply the elements of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Read and understand BOMS, Wiring and Layout diagrams for use in product build verification.
  • Familiarity of ISO 9000 standards and audit process preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP software is preferred.
