We have proven capabilities in new and emerging technologies and extensive experience across a broad range of industries and domains which enable us to deliver world-class, secure, scalable and reliable business systems. We have achieved many distinctions and milestones of outstanding success during the course of its evolutionary journey.Job DescriptionJob DutiesManages all procurement requirements/activities.Manages the plant storeroom facility/personnel.Work directly with all departments to address purchasing concerns and work toward resolution.Work with accounting and vendors to resolve any supplier, contract, or invoicing discrepancies.Work directly with various vendors negotiating price, terms, delivery, etc.Create department standard practices and efficient processes.Create purchase orders and insure proper approvals.Perform some buying functions.QualificationsQualifications/RequirementsMinimum of A.S. degree from an accredited college (B.S. degree preferred) or minimum of 8 years industrial purchasing experience or combination of education and experience.Minimum of 5 years leadership, teambuilding, and industrial experience along with procurement/purchasing experience.Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and work within a team structure to support company objectives and maintain/build positive working relationships.Strong mathematical aptitude with an ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and variances.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to take initiative and be confident in decision making.Ability to manage conflict, coach, and mentor others.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required.Experience with Kronos helpful, but not required.Organized and Efficient.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
