Position: Field Sales Representative I

Location: Hobbs, NM

Job Description: Field Sales Representative I is responsible for representing Ulterra ethically and professionally at the field level. They are challenged with growing revenue and market share, building relationships, capturing performance data, providing the highest level of customer service and communicating needs and opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Call on all rigs in assigned area with consistency and professionalism. Customer Service and ability to build relationships is a main priority.
  • Follow all safety procedures at all times.
  • Dress in a professional manner as directed by management. This includes facial hair requirements and restrictions.
  • Account for 100% of inventory at all times through all implemented documentation and procedures.
  • Achieve a minimum of 95% bit record collection monthly with accuracy and quality standards met.
  • Have all required reports (daily reports, expense reports, vehicle inspection reports, revenue flashes, and all other requested reports) completed and returned by deadlines with quality standards met.
  • Maintain a safe and clean company vehicle at all times. Employees are responsible for timely routine maintenance.
  • Have a strong understanding of your field's market conditions at all times (customer relationships, rig count, total market ($), market share ($), market share (%), all performance information, drilling conditions, drilling variables, future activity, etc).
  • Open communication with Sales Supers, Applications Engineers, Account Reps, and District Manager daily.
  • Continually learn about the applications in your area, our product, how to properly apply what you know and have learned.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. College degree is preferred.
  • Industry Experience: At least one year of sales or other relevant experience.
  • Must have and maintain clean driving record. Able to navigate maps and use GPS.
  • Basic reading and writing skills.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.
  • Comfortable navigating programs similar to social media apps.
  • Takes direction and instruction, both written and oral.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to advance to an intermediate level.
  • Able to prioritize and manage time, organized.
  • Comfortable with public speaking.
  • Good attitude with ability to work in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

Bending, stooping, sitting, walking; visual acuity with hand and finger dexterity. Employee is regularly required to talk and hear with close and distant vision. Able to lift 50 lbs.
