As Director for Talent, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a new program to support Founders in their recruiting efforts. This will include developing new features to make advertising open roles to our network easier and more effective, working with 3rd parties (universities, recruiting companies, etc…) to offer a range of services addressing hiring pain points, launching proprietary features, etc. Note that the role does not entail recruiting on behalf of Founders. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help Techstars portfolio companies hire faster and better
• Work closely with our Engineering and Network teams to develop scalable recruiting solutions
• Develop and foster trusting partnerships with a wide array of stakeholders and leaders
• Deep understanding of our competitors, our products, our how Techstars is positioned in the industry 
• Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a focus on designing and delivering B2B suite of services
• Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities – we're lean so we all have to roll up our sleeves!
• Strong program management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience defining and using data to measure talent programs and drive improvements
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
• People-oriented with a client centric approach and strong follow-up skills
• Ability to work in a innovative and iterative environment, finding creative solutions for business problems
• Experience in the recruitment space a plus but not a requirement

Compensation range: $95,000 - $125,000 10% bonus
