Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist

Location: Tulsa, OK

Position Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

1. Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations.
2. Follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure timely payment and resolution of outstanding balances.
3. Communicate with customers regarding past due invoices, payment terms, and payment arrangements.
4. Review and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status in the accounting system.
6. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve customer billing issues and disputes.
7. Prepare and distribute monthly statements and reports to management summarizing accounts receivable status.
8. Monitor customer credit limits and recommend adjustments as necessary to minimize credit risk.
9. Assist with the implementation of new processes and systems to improve accounts receivable efficiency and effectiveness.
10. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable and collections.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2. 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or related financial roles.
3. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
4. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
7. Experience working with customers in a B2B environment is a plus.
8. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
