Overview:
The Assembly & Test Technician will be responsible for assembly, testing and shipping of aircraft systems along with other assigned tasks within Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Shipping/Receiving. This person must be able to use basic hand tools, solder, electrical harness assembly, work order kit building, lot tracking, shipment packaging, receiving inspection and order preparation. Assigned tasks include but are not limited to; assembly of aerospace components to printed work instructions, assist with picking inventory items and documenting traceability, receiving inventory, preparation of outgoing shipments and other tasks, as necessary. The person in this position must be a team player, willing to promote a trusting and enjoyable work environment. Must be able to follow written instructions and work to specifications.
Qualifications:
At least, 2 years of experience in electrical and hydraulic assembly as well as testing for an aircraft system manufacturer
Basic math skills
MS Office software proficiency
Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
