Mechanical Calibration Technician
Technical Maintenance Inc. is recruiting for a Mechanical Calibration Technician in Niles, IL. These positions require demonstrated knowledge of several key areas of metrology including calipers, micrometers, pressure gauges, indicators and torque, to name a few. This position will require direct contact with the customer and will require attention to detail and communication skills.
Flexible to the demands of workload and schedule changes as production needs are met, while including some weekends and holidays.
Job Requirements :
*PMEL or other calibration training with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
*Outstanding customer skills and attention to detail
*Experience with quality systems such as ISO 17025
*Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
*Ability to be a leader and work unsupervised
*Positive, eager to learn attitude
*US Citizen
*Valid driver's license
*Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs
*Ability to work in an industrial environment while maintaining safety at all times
