Technical Environmental Services is seeking candidates for an hourly position in support of environmental projects in the greater New Orleans, Louisiana area. The function of the Environmental Technician is to perform duties related to hazardous waste, asbestos, lead, mold, and RCRA inspections/surveys. This is an entry-level position and will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to hone their skills in an environment that is built upon continuing professional development.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. 0-2 years of experience conducting environmental assessments (preferred);
2. Associate degree (preferred but not required);
3. Effective communication and problem-solving skills (required);
4. Trustworthy and dependable (required);
5. Reliable transportation (required); and,
