Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Blocker and Bracer Lead (P&C) on a government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss, TX

Position Summary:
The Blocker and Bracer Lead performs aspects of blocking and bracing and general woodworking work. The Blocker Bracer lead will lead other wood workers in projects for various units across Fort Bliss, TX manufacturing crates and boxes required to ship items CONUS and OCONUS. The position requires knowledge of applicable local and federal shipping laws and packing and crating requirements for Depot Level Reparable items. Must be familiar with the Army Stock Readiness program (SRP) and certain Supply timelines requirements. Work includes but, not limited to researching Special Packaging Instructions, Logging work done, materials used, and ordering of materials in the online portal system in accordance with the SRP. The position also includes ordering, receiving, and inventory of all woodworking supplies and materials needed for daily operations. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. This work requires leadership of other employees, taskings and ensuring the proper approval/documentation is obtained prior to commencing.
