IT Applications Specialist
The Applications Specialist is responsible for managing software installations, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing system performance, and providing user support.
This job operates in a professional office environment.
Role and Responsibilities

• Electronic document storage and integration management
• Assist as a backup for patching duties across workstations, servers, and network devices
• Assist with user equipment deployments
• Assist with service desk incidents as needed
• Assist with managing email infrastructure
• Provide Active Directory management
• Assist with cloud user management
• Assist with Windows 11 review/rollout
• Travel to remote sites as needed, primarily day trips
• Manage electronic logbooks for fleet use
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of IT

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Associates degree and a minimum of three years related work experience required
• Five or more years of relevant work experience preferred
• Certifications (CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security , etc.) preferred
• Exchange, Azure, and Office 365

Preferred Skills

• Possess a working knowledge of the ITIL framework
• Understand use of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration.
• Possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Interact comfortable with end-users both virtually and on-site.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Show a high degree of attention to detail.
• Demonstrate initiative to take on new projects and learn new skills.

Supervisory Responsibility

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
