JOB SUMMARY:

The Branch Manager-Low Voltage will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization’s research, development, and product implementation efforts. As a Branch Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our team and contributing to the overall success of our branch. Responsible for running efficient and profitable projects, through productive staffing, customer relations/retention, cost containment to achieve successful objectives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team to ensure the successful execution of projects and daily operations.
• Accountability: Take ownership of the branch's performance, ensuring that it meets and exceeds its targets and goals. Be responsible for financial performance, project delivery, and overall branch success.

• Verification and Improvement: Continuously assess the strengths and weaknesses of your team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance overall performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead low voltage projects from start to finish, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Drive sales growth by generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and meeting sales targets.
• Manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Balance office and field management responsibilities, spending approximately 50% of time in each.
• Develop and manage estimating and procurement of project work.
• Foster strong client relationships and act as a liaison between clients and project teams.
• Project Diversity: The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of project types. We value versatility and the ability to adapt to different project requirements.
• Prepare and manage team payroll, customer billing, project ordering of materials/supplies, and scheduling of projects/team.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management and project management, particularly in managing projects preferably in low voltage.
• 3 years of project management and estimating experience in low voltage field.
• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of local unions and relevant local codes.
• Proficient with estimating/construction project management software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• In-office and in the field overseeing projects
• Standard operating hours: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

• Travel required.
