Duties and Responsibilities:
· Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering document, reports, and drawings (flow charts, block diagrams and schematics)
· Prepares reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis
· Provides completion of technical tasks.
· Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
· Helps scope equipment for use and complete qualifications
· Works with team to on general lab functions; including calibration, implementation of safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance
· Notifies manager or team lead upon recognition of factors that may affect project
· Helps develop prototype processes and test set-ups
· Executes designed test protocol and conducts testing
· Effectively documents and communicates test results
· Supports hardware debugging
Requirements:
· Minimum Requirement: Minimum education requirement is high school diploma, experience in a lab environment (corporate or school) or technician experience in a regulated environment for a minimum of 3 years, experience following written procedures and working collaboratively with a team
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
· Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures
· The ability to work effectively in a cross functional group and communicate effectively with the lab team and extended team members
· Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope
· Proficiency in personal computers
· Ability to train lower-level technicians
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.89 - $28.00 per hour
