NOW HIRING - Lab Technician

TECH 2000 is currently seeking candidates for an available Lab Technician position available in the Katy, TX area.

This position supports the R&D Laboratory and Production through the routine analysis of full scale manufactured products (raw materials, in process and finished product) via prescribed analytical techniques; ensures optimal equipment operation through maintenance/troubleshooting and calibration of instruments; and assists in non-routine or special projects as needed.

Requirements

• BS Chemistry or a similar science
• 1 year or more experience in a polymer lab setting
• Experience in polymer formulations, synthesis, manufacturing and/or analysis
• Hands on expertise with spectroscopy and GC, as well as wet bench methods
• Experience with running physical-analytical tests including color, moisture content, impact, shear, tensile strength, extrusion/injection molding and roll mills/bra benders

Job Details

• Location - Katy, TX
• Shift - 8hr Day Shift Mon-Fri
• Pay - $25-30/hr

Prior to employment, all candidates will be required to pass a drug and background screen, and may need to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
