Matrix Metalcraft is an innovative metal fabrication and manufacturing company serving the Defense, Energy, Automotive, and Outdoor Power Equipment Industries. Due to growth and expansion, Matrix has open positions for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, for 1^st shift.

Job Duties:

• Receive incoming material - examine contents of shipments against packing lists, bill of lading, etc. and conduct physical counts of pieces received against paperwork.
• Properly package (box or palletize) items of delivery according to various customer requirements using foam wrap, paper packing, bagging, strapping, etc.
• Prepare product for shipping using appropriate equipment, labeling etc.
• Load and unload trucks safely using the proper equipment such as hand truck or forklift
• Manage proper inventory levels of shipping materials, such as boxes, crates, pallets and wrap. Notify purchaser when additional supplies are needed.
• Record products received and products shipped in the inventory software.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized shipping and receiving area.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory software.
• Must have strong math skills and be detail oriented.
• Be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experienced operating a forklift.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Good attendance is a must.
