Tebo Dental Group is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Near Lilburn, GA

Tebo Dental is a well-established and privately-owned children & teen and orthodontic group with locations just north of Atlanta, GA in the cities of Lilburn, Dacula, Gainesville, Peachtree Corners, and Cumming. We are looking for motivated, team-oriented, and dedicated professionals to join our family.

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist performs a variety of routine building maintenance and repair tasks related to carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc. This position will also offer support in performing general upkeep and cleaning of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect buildings/structures to determine functionality and detect malfunctions or needed repairs
  • Coordinate with vendors and other maintenance/IT specialists to identify the root cause of any malfunction
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects involving our facilities and provide expertise on behalf of the company
  • Plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.)
  • Painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.)
  • Reconfigure installs, positioning, and remounting of modular offices (e.g. furniture, wall panels, work surfaces, storage bins, lighting, file cabinets, etc.)
  • Perform or coordinate electrical maintenance to include replacement or repair of fixtures using the appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools
  • Maintain the cleanliness of patient rooms, staff break areas, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, stairways, parking lots, and other work areas (e.g. sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying/cleaning wastebaskets, washing walls, replacing light bulbs, and restocking supplies)
  • Perform or coordinate repairs on dental and facilities related equipment
  • Manage, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance schedules on equipment
  • Manage and maintain current manuals and warranty information on equipment
  • Set up and break down of facilities for meetings, trainings, conferences, events, etc.
  • Assist with inventory control by ordering parts and maintaining documentation
  • Respond to and manage the follow-up of work orders and outstanding repairs
  • Assist in responding to and troubleshooting some IT-related issues as they arise
  • Be available to respond to emergency issues that may arise during non-peak business hours and provide on-site support
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience working in facilities maintenance
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare setting or with dental equipment is preferred
  • Ability to travel between our office locations for site visits to perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Moderate computer and software skills for basic data entry, email communication, and basic computer hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Thorough understanding of the use of various office equipment (e.g. computers, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, modems, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational skills, work ethic, and attention-to-detail
  • Customer-service driven with the ability to build effective business relationships with a wide range of people
  • Ability to take initiative to resolve problems, fix equipment, etc. with a sense of urgency
